Honda aims yearly sales of 70,000 Prologue electric vehicles in U.S. from 2024
Honda Motor Co’s U.S. unit said on Monday it is focusing on starting yearly deals of 70,000 for its planned electric Prologue sport utility vehicle when it goes to advertise in 2024.
Honda plans to add extra electric vehicle models as it intends to have sold a sum of 500,000 electric vehicles in the United States by 2030, and to accomplish 100% zero discharge vehicles deals in North America by 2040.
It comes as President Joe Biden marked a executive order last month setting an objective to make half of all new traveler vehicles sold in 2030 zero-discharges vehicles.
The Honda Prologue is being co-created with General Motors Co and depends on the Detroit automaker’s Ultium stage, a measured stage and battery framework. Honda and GM are likewise co-fostering an electric Acura-brand SUV.
